next morning 是否应该改为the next morning

Tom is excited about his thirteenth birthday. "Its my birthday tomorrow. Can I have a birthday party?" He asks his mother. “You dont need to have a party this year, Tom. You had one last year, and dont call your friends to come to our home. I think they must be busy,” says his mother.Tom is not happy. Next morning, he goes out of his bed for his breakfast and he sees some balloons are in the living room. And a big birthday cake is on the table. His friends and parents are all here. "Happy birthday,Tom. This is for you." says his mother.

但可以有next week/month/March/season/year 的表达。
