通常而言，lunchbreak 是指本地时间上午11点到下午1点之间的这段时间，短可以短到5分钟，长可以长到两小时。只要break发生在这段时间，不管实际吃午餐有没有发生，都可以叫lunch break。换句话，当你并不在意或者并不强调去吃午饭的时候，就可以说是lunch break。所以除非上下文明确提到午餐的具体行为，否则怎么翻译成午休是没问题的。所以lunch break更多的是怎么翻译成“午休时间”，而不是“午餐时间”。一家之言，仅供参考；勤查英英，必有所获！
