Why will the police have a difficult time?
The Greenwood Boys are a group of pop singers. At present, they are visiting all
parts of the country. They will be arriving here tomorrow. They will be coming by
train and most of the young people in the town will be meeting them at the station.
Tomorrow evening they will be singing at the Workers Club. The Greenwood Boys
will be staying for five days. During this time, they will give five performances. As
usual, the police will have a difficult time. They will be trying to keep order. It is
always the same on these occasions.
我的疑问1：这里面除了除了划横线的其他句子都是将来进行时，为什么我认为将来时也可以，都是表示将来时间里的一段时间，为什么一般将来时不可以？如果可以那么将来时是表示事件的整体的持续性，而一般将来进行时则表示强调事件的现阶段的持续性。我的理解对吗？
我的疑问2：they will give five performances.这句里谓语动词give是演出的意思，是动态动词，为什么这里不用将来进行时呢？they will be giving five performances.
我的理解：The Greenwood Boys are a group of pop singers. 这里are是静态动词，整句话表示的是状态一直延续至现在说话的时间。
the police will have a difficult time.这里的have是静态动词不能用于进行体
